Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and KeyCraft ("KeyCraft", "we", "us") governing your use of the KeyCraft application and website at keycraft.pro (the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
1Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
3Your account
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@keycraft.pro if you believe your account has been compromised.
4Licence to use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own practice and learning. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
5Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Copy, resell, or redistribute the Service, or attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract its source code except where the law expressly permits.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.
- Use automated means to access the Service in a way that harms it or other users.
6Plans & payment
The Service may offer a free tier and one or more paid plans, possibly with a free trial. If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing period, and any trial terms will be shown at checkout, and payment will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.
7Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, text, logos, and the KeyCraft name — is owned by KeyCraft or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you beyond the limited licence above.
8Your data
Your practice data belongs to you. By using the Service you allow us to store and process that data to provide it to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time.
9Disclaimers
KeyCraft is an educational practice tool provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every MIDI device or browser, or that it will produce any particular learning outcome. Web MIDI and audio support varies by browser and hardware.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeyCraft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the licence granted to you ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
12Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
